My photo
Jim
Humboldt County, CA, United States
I have been a full time painter since 1975. My paintings are based on the life around me. I paint directly from the subject, out on location with the landscape and in my sky lit studio with the still-life and figures. I do some large landscapes in the studio from studies, but most of the time take the large canvases, up to 48x72, into the field. My focus is oil paint, but I also work with and love the watercolor medium.
